Join us on a refreshing 3 hour sea-kayaking tour where we will cool down in the water every 10 minutes! We will explore the breathtaking coastline around the Costa dels Pins in North-East Mallorca. The pine covered headlands tower above a beautiful part of the sea that is shielded from north winds and has lots of known scuba diving spots along the way. Some of these spots are close enough to the coast for us to enjoy kayaking and snorkeling. We pass lots of beautiful little beaches and caves and coves where we will take a break to have a small picnic, a rest and do some snorkeling and cliff jumping if you dare!
The kayaks we use are comfortable sit-on-top kayaks that are great equipment for beginners and intermediate kayakers. You will get a life-vest and snorkel equipment. In colder months we provide a wetsuit as well. Our excursion takes it easy on the arms with lots of breaks for a swim, snorkel, picnic or cave exploration. It is both relaxing and an adventure!
Duration:
The kayak tour lasts 3 hours and leaves daily at 11.00 and 16.30. During both tours we are in the water so often that it will definitely keep you cooler than on land! It includes a brief 5-10 minute safety- and technique instruction, snorkeling, a picnic break with local foods and an explorations of beaches, caves and coves. We advise you to arrive 10 minutes early so you can start the tour relaxed and without rushing.
Where we are:
We start and end our kayak tour 150 meters past Bar Playa, Avenida del Pinar 2, Son Servera. The beach is called Platja de Sa Marjal and is located 1 km from Cala Bona and 4 km from Cala Millor on a stretch of coast called Costa dels Pins (Pine coast). It is 100 metres south of the Golf Club of Son Servera. The little beach Bar Playa is known amongst the locals for it’s great and affordable seafood, but most days require a reservation in advance.
Picnic:
Along the way we will stop in a cove or on a little beach to take a break and have a picnic with typical local foods. We also provide a small (0,5 ltr) bottle of water. The picnic has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, so everyone can eat as they like.
What to bring:
Bring plenty of sunscreen, boardshorts or a bikini, a towel and your best of moods! Optional: A waterproof phone cover if you want to bring your phone, sunglasses (make sure they are tied on the back), water shoes, water.
Cancellations:
When the weather conditions are not suitable or safe for a kayak tour on the day of your reservation, you can choose for a full refund or an alternative tour date/time (if available). You can cancel your kayak reservation with a full refund up to 7 days in advance.
